Pay tribute to Rabbi Krug and join us for The Frisch Drama Society Production of The Foreigner on May 26

Rabbi Dr. John Krug was The Assistant Producer of the world's longest running musical, The Fantasticks, from 1974 until its closing in January 2002 and was honored for his 28 years in that position.  He is currently the Production Consultant for the revival of The Fantasticks currently playing at Broadway's Snapple Theatre.  In addition to more than 250 production credits in the past 40 years, he has directed an award-winning show for NBC, produced a nationally-aired commercial, designed a show for the Bermuda National Festival, consulted for several Broadway shows, directed an award winning commercial for the New Jersey Department of Transportation and is the director of Israel's hit show From Gershwin To Second Avenue. However, most of his time is spent at Frisch as Dean of Student Life and Welfare, and teaching Chumash and Psychology at the school. He holds degrees in psychology and drama, Masters Degrees in psychology and Jewish education, a doctorate in clinical psychology, a post-doctorate fellowship degree and is licensed and in private practice. Dr. Krug wrote his post-doctoral thesis on "The Use Of Drama And Theatrical Technique in Informal Jewish Education," an often cited work.

Celebrate 30 Years of Frisch Drama
with Rabbi Dr. John Krug

The Frisch School Family is thrilled to celebrate 30 years of Drama at Frisch under the direction of Rabbi Dr. John Krug. Please join us as we celebrate Rabbi Krug and all that he has done for The Frisch School on Sunday, May 26th at our production of The Foreigner. We will continue the celebration with a "cast party" after the show to pay tribute to Rabbi Krug and all of his accomplishments!

Please RSVP to drama@frisch.org to attend the "cast party" and email your kind wishes to Rabbi Krug that will be included in a tribute book to be presented to him.
