|Our young women competing in the 1st Round of the |
Ulpaniada Math Competition last week.
Great math is happening at Frisch. For the first time ever, The Frisch School has taken part in Jerusalem College's math contest called the Ulpaniada. Being offered only for the second year to schools outside of Israel, the Ulpaniada is a womens' only international math contest which tests advanced reasoning and problem solving skills. Out of the 16 young women who took part in round one, ten qualified to take part in the second round which will take place in Frisch on March 14. The final round takes place in Jerusalem. Last year, out of 10,000 students, only 20 qualified. So cheer on your fellow math inclined cougars and let's see if we can make it to Israel for the final round!!!
